Positive Psychology studies show that by regularly exercising kindness towards people, our view of the source of happiness changes. We find it within ourselves. This sense of power, the ability to influence the world around us and thus bring it to good pushes us to do good again and again.

Kabbalists respects psychology and look at it as a stepping stone taking people closer towards deeper understanding of human nature studied by Kabbalah.
Acts of kindness and giving are in line with the major law of nature – a reflection of that major law in humans beings. Putting efforts into making ourselves similar to that law(flowing with it) will make people happier and more successful. But a question remains, what is true kindness that builds an endless pool of happiness?
